First entry.
star date, July 10, hell I don’t even know what a star date is.
Why am I blogging? Well, it’s simple. There’s some things about this wonderful world we live in that I must get off my chest. I have to be anonymous to be honest (let’s think about the sadness of that statement for a minute.) Is this going to be a rant? Some days, yes. Other days, well, we’ll see.
So I’m a middle aged guy living in the glorious (seriously) city of Denver. There’s a couple of things about me that I can’t seem to ever shake. I love cycling, I love listening to music, I hate the sound that cat I have in my house is making right now behind me – yowling, crying, whatever (does anyone speak cat?) Every time I try to figure out what he wants, he just runs away. Go figure. Why do I have a cat?
Part of this blog will be talking about various projects I have underway and seeing if I can finish them – kind of a personal problem of mine, starting and not finishing.
This weeks project is to eat all the leftover food I’ve got in my freezer. Not in one sitting mind you, but in normal, regular every day meals. See, like most of us, I’ve got more than I need, so I’ll whittle away at it over time and see how it goes. Should be a culinary adventure.
Another thing I’ve got going is I’m obsessed about cycling. Lately I’ve been commuting to work on the bike. 18 miles one way. That’s been an adventure too. I’ll try to post about how that goes. Let’s put it this way. I’ve been doing it for a couple of weeks now and it’s no where near as hard as it sounds. More on this.
Lastly, the music. I love listening to all kinds of this stuff. So I’ll try to post recommendations. You can reply with your thoughts. Right now I’m listening to (don’t gag):
